In my time at college i have worked as a scenic across 6 shows in total. the combination of these shows has taught me a wide range of skills, both scenic and organisational. 

I have learnt how to create a variety of textures, including: rust from latex, stone and concrete from plaster, wood-grain onto MDF, wallpaper and many more. 

It has also taught me valuable lesson about he making and rendering process when it comes to designing. What's easy to achieve to a high level for a scenic and what is not. It's also given me an understanding of the cost of a show to more easily evaluate my options when it comes to designing and advise when it comes to being a maker.
