Cigar is the antagonist of the performance. I didn't make the puppet, instead I puppeteered it with Em Spoor. He was great fun, with a weighty waddling gait and thick Chicagoan accent. I've always derived joy from character performing and puppeteering. Changing yourself into something unrecognisable and then inhabiting that being for the performance.
